Over the course of her distinguished 35-year career, Dr. Lampel has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the field of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. Her contributions have been particularly impactful during her tenure as a full-time physiatrist at the Saint Agnes Children's Rehabilitation Center, now known as the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center in White Plains, New York. She opened her own private practice following 20 years at the Children's Rehabilitation Center and has office space in White Plains, Brewster, and Poughkeepsie New York seeing children with developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, non-surgical or post-surgical orthopedic disorders, genetic related disorders, and trauma. She assists families in obtaining therapeutic services and necessary durable medical equipment to optimize the quality of life and function of their child.

About:
My first love as a child was dancing and I trained to become a professional dancer in my early twenties. Gradually after performing, teaching, and choreographing, my interests expanded to how the body functions and how the body heals following injury or illness. This led me to medical school at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. I did a fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation and decided to make this my lifelong focus to help children and their families develop and thrive functionally.
